If you see a topic (thread) that you would like to receive email alerts, here's how (even if you have not posted to that topic.

1. While you have a topic (thread) open, look for the EMAIL ALERTS box in the top right of that topic.

2. Check the box for Email Alerts. Now, when anyone posts to that topic, you will receive an email alert.

If you check the box for YT - Your Threads - you will see that topic (thread) displayed like this ..
https://www.wegetaroundnetwork.com/your/

You can also get to the email notification panel by selecting the four horizontal lines in that dialog box.
