Zenith and Nadir Issues3472

Can viewing the zenith and nadir in a model be avoided?
Is there a way of avoiding the glob at the top and bottom?

@als528

Great question.

Seems like Matterport should limit the view so that the viewer can not see the "glob" ...

Pro Option:

Allow Pros to upload a zenith patch and a nadir patch (two different patches). I could imagine a branded and non-branded option so that we don't have to publish twice and post production twice.

Limiting the view range of scans in all dimensions would be helpful. In this case limiting vertical displacement to, say 25 degrees (or whatever) could avoid the nether regions. And but yesterday i had to scan past an unavoidable, unmovable, and unsightly artifact and i thought, hey, wouldn't limiting horizontal panning on a scan by scan basis be handy.
