Limiting the Horizon Line of Matterport?3346

srennick private msg quote post Address this user
I have a potential client who refinishes hardwood floors. He would like me to experiment with the idea of limiting the horizon line of a virtual tour to focus on only the floors of a project.
Do you think this is achievable? Does anyone have experience with trying to do something like this?

I do not believe this is possible at the moment.

We install floor and wall tiles so have much the same issue sometimes. What I have done is to set the camera lower on the tripod, you have to experiment a little. This reduces the size of the blurred area on the floor and has the advantage of not seeing the camera in any mirrors. I guess if you set it very low then you would certainly be more focused on the floor.
Good Luck.
