I would move a marking like a mirror or window and re-upload again. How did you scan it. I scan 100 make a copy and continue scanning on the copy up to 120. Same process up to 200. |

That way you can check out if you had an error and not have to rescan everything

We did our 8000sf house yesterday. We had 110 scans plus 10 360's. It took 5 hours to process. (As soon as the client accepts the model, I'll post it here for your comments.) |

Grmngrl, I did upload an early copy to be sure I was on track. I'll have to remember to try that next time. I did make a few changes an upload again. I will report when it comes back. Thanks Johnlosser, I'm definately past 5 hours!

That's a good one @johnloser. How long did that take you? I recently scanned a friends 11,873 sq ft house and it took me 104 scans and 7 hours. I think my processing time was about 5 hours too.

My wife and I worked as a team. It took us about 6 hours to scan the inside. There are four floors, two master bedroom suites, one bedroom, several bathrooms, two kitchens, a workout room and a large garage. We even scanned the master utility/electrical room. We actually made about 20 more scans that we deleted or that did not align properly. After my wife left for an appointment, I made about 8 more 360 scans outdoors. Total time on site was 7 hours, including walk through and some cleanup / staging we had to do. We split the duties with her running the iPad app and I moved the camera. If we were very confident the scan would align, I moved as soon as the app said "OK to move the camera". We took some extra time/scans trying to go through closed doors. We actually succeeded quite well with shower doors. Overall, we are quite pleased and we are certain the client will be pleased too. |
