I have been reading this forum for several months. I have learned a lot of info, so I am sure someone has run into this. I scanned a large home yesterday that had a front door open into a courtyard. When you walk in, the guest house is to the left and the pool in the middle with the main house in front and to the right side. They didn't want the garage scanned, so it isn't there. I arrived and had no problem starting the scan but could not get into the guest house immediately, so I scanned house and went back to the guest house. The sun wouldn't let me align with other scans to get into the guest house, so I scanned closer to house than I wanted but I finally got into the other house. When you tour it, it is fine until you try to leave and it is hard to get out. I have a few ideas on how to solve: 1. Ask and go back at dusk and re-scan the courtyard and one step in all the doors. They are very nice and I do not think they would mind. 2. Duplicate the model in app, delete a scan and hope they give me a new url. Then connect them together with Mattertags so they can go into guest house or main house. 3. Go scan guest house on a new model and connect them together. Thanks in advance for the ideas. |

One other thing you might want to try is to trim out the door. This will eliminate any obstacles that may have been created allowing you to pass right through. | ||
