Hi Folks, I accidentally dropped one of our Matterport cameras. The top popped off. It still turns on, but I cannot seem to figure out how to reattach the antenna. Anyone know where we can go to get that info? It slipped right off the tripod and fell onto the concrete garage just as I moved it. Thanks George |

George, I can not even imagine ... Let us know what Matterport Support says. Seems like it is worth paying Matterport to repair it. Dan |

So here's Matterport's response to our situation... That definitely looks pretty serious and would need to come home for repairs. Unfortunately our camera is not serviceable by anyone but Matterport, so I would recommend you sending in your unit asap! RMA instructions are as follows: Your RMA number is: RMA-XXX To return the camera, please do the following: 1) Securely pack the camera and all included parts, using the instructions below. PLEASE NOTE: You are liable for the camera's condition until we receive it. We therefore strongly recommend using secure packaging, and shipping insurance. 2) Ship the camera to our address below, and send us the tracking number. Please refer to your RMA number above. Matterport - Customer Success RMA-418 352 East Java Dr. Sunnyvale , CA 94089 USA 3) When we receive the camera, we will inspect it. This takes up to 10 business days, not including any shipping times. If the camera is undamaged and in good working condition, we will continue with the RMA process. If the camera is damaged, we will inform you of the assessed cost before billing. 4) Once evaluation is complete, we'll contact you regarding next steps -- either your shipping address for repairs, or payment method for refunds. Note that we can only ship to US addresses. Thank you! If you have any questions, we're available at support@matterport.com. |
