I think both would have their clients Gopro is cheaper, and you can unmount The camera and Also you will get a steadycam, and monitor on The controller. DJI mire features but you have to pay more. If you want an adventure drone, you want to spend less. If you are a more experience pilot you might get The DJI. It is my opinion. I have several drones and each has its own characteristics. For different assignments. |

@skycamguatemala -- GoPro is cheaper but does't include the camera. This is cheaper if you don't already have a camera. I'm totally getting this |

I like the size and you get the same resolution as the Phantom 4 or Inspire 1. For the price, you can't beat it. I think it is a much better value than the Karma. And I never did like the fisheye of the GoPro's

I agree frstbubble the fish eye is terrible if you are using it professionally. I know you can correct in post, but as soon as I started making money with my work the gopro went in the closet for vacations. The Mavic size without losing any features is amazing! If I ever crash my P3P and I'm not a point I can afford the inspire with an x5 the Mavic looks like an excellent choice! |

I recently saw a side by side review of the footage from a Phantom 4 and the Mavic they are saying that the Mavic video is a little softer. But for the convenience of size and portability, it is worth the sacrifice. It's not that much of a difference.

That would depend on what you want it for. For personal footage, fine. For work, mmmmmmmm dont know Besides, if you show up with a client, that would look line The drone from one Of your kids. Some clients need to see The show, is like showing up, with a rico theta S on a tripod or a Matterport. For work, I only use Inspire PRO or something else. But never less. It is my opinion, only!!! |
