Matterport sent a survey to its customers asking... "How important would _______________________ be in helping you and your business be more effective and efficient?" I am posting each feature to a separate thread, in case you want to discuss a specific feature request with the Matterport Community. BTW, Matterport reads every word of the Forum. ![]() Best, Dan ---- Matterport Question "How important would Use an iPhone instead of an iPad to control the Matterport Pro Camera in helping you and your business be more effective and efficient?" |

I think this is a BAD idea. We use our phones to chit chat and our iPads as a single purpose device when we are scanning. Who wants to take a phone call while they are scanning a model? Who wants to use a tiny screen? Who wants to run out of batteries on their phone? I think there's no point. |

Id love to use the iPhone as the trigger to "begin scan", while the iPad is somewhere close processing

i dont think its a good idea. screen is too small. With regards to an iphone trigger, that may be nice, however having an ipad close enough to process will usually mean it will be in the shot so no a benefit in my opinion.
