When you hide a scanned point, do you lose the information in the dollhouse and floor plan, or it only affects the ability to travel to that point in the 3D view?? Or both?

Only affects the ability to travel to that point. We like to scan areas such as mechanical rooms where we may ultimately hide the scan to keep people from travelling there, but it gives a better floor plan view if included. |

So I'm a little stuck on this. If you have an undesirable room (i.e. Mechanical room) that you don't want included in the walk through but you want to scan to complete the dollhouse, do you scan with the door leading to that room open? I'm asking because I have a nice looking room that has a mechanical closet that I need to complete the dollhouse. If I scan the nice room with the door open, it looks tacky. If I scan it with the door closed, the scans don't align. I guess I could do 2 completely separate scan sets (on set with door open, on with door closed). Is the that the correct procedure, or is there a hack?
