Scanning outdoor tours in bright sunlight2471

joez private msg quote post Address this user
Was looking at the 360 views that Matterport recently released, allowing you to scan an image in bright sunlight.

Is it possible to scan outdoor tours in bright sunlight now?
I know you can do it in the early mornings-sunrise or sunset- with the less sunlight hitting the camera). Was wondering if things have changed?
Really desperate for this to happen, if it's not possible yet, hopefully a new Matterport camera would allow this.

that is correct on 360 views, although can you do virtual outdoor tours? like what you can do usually indoors.

If you want to scan outdoor direct sunlight will kill the 3D, especially on reflective floors. If you want 3D outdoors, scan early in the morning, evening or at night and best with a light cloudy sky.

But it works: http://www.showit360.de/de/portfolio/sculpture-forum-muenchen
