Pricing for individual photos21547

I have a client reaching out asking for 50 360 photos. I usually charge .20sqft for scans but I'm not sure how to quantify individual photos. I'll be doing the shoot in North Ga. I've also never delivered unstitched scans, is there anything weird from the Matterport side of things? Any help is appreciated!

You need to get a 360* camera that not a Matterport. I use a Z1 and would charge $200.

@img360 what will they be used for because the export of MP is ok depending on its use. I know that before you never got the same quality as you saw in the tour. Not sure now.

@img360

What is the clients “Use Case” what are they trying to achieve.

I personally do not charge by the image I bid by the job or with real estate I bundle packages

@img360 you might test the water and download an image from another project to make sure they are happy with the quality before you do the work and then they're not happy expecting more and then adjust the job with another camera and bid accordingly.

If you were using another Fisheye camera such as a Ricoh Z1 or Insta360. This would be a slam dunk fast and easy. Use the Matterport App and make a tour and just click all the needed 360's and they are saved in a nice HDR format. Never upload the Matterport tour and just save the photos that stayed on your camera.

Because all you have is a Pro2. This is going to get messy. You can take the same idea using the pro2 that will take longer. Not sure what billing you have. To avoid the classic plan overcharge. Take a previously uploaded tour and duplicate the tour. Remove as many photos as you can (not everything). Then shoot the 360's and upload the tour. Now you have to go through 200 photos downloading each individually.

@lilnitsch & @ron0987 have a huge question that needs answering before you can even think about bidding. "What is the clients “Use Case” what are they trying to achieve." & "you might test the water and download an image from another project to make sure they are happy"

They might not need 200 images, they might need a virtual tour or a way to have them connected into a Google Business Page. They might want a higher quality shoot that comes from a Mirrorless or DSLR that is stitched together.

Figure out what your time is worth on site and in the back end putting together what the client needs. Good Luck.
