During a recent visit to Italy, I thought it would be fun to 3D scan a local gelato shop and use AI-generated 3D environments to explore the history of gelato. We used a combination of technologies: XGRIDS PortalCam for reality capture, WorldLabs to generate the historical 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes, and ElevenLabs for the AI narration.
