This looks very similar to our secret shopper experiment... is it the same product just rebranded and expanded a bit? they aren't getting high resolution (quality) photos from a image extract...

also I wish they'd just say they are ANSI z762-2021 compliant already .

I'm sorry, I may be crazy, but when looking at this it seems that Matterport has taken the next step in opening a full service B2C business that will compete for end clients. Is that the essence of this? Service providers would now work for Matterport to provide the 3D scans they will sell directly to the realtors?

IMO no. Matterport has never succeeded in doing straight to consumer. All their product to this point has been garbage in that realm. Plus their price tags are never good enough to attract NORMAL realtors or end users. Not many of our clients would drop 8k on a camera setup, spend hundreds a month to keep listings online and then drop an ADDITIONAL $219 on every scan just to get photographs and a couple bells & whistles. Once again a failure from MP on truly advancing the industry. I'm a real estate photographer and will jump as soon as there is a major advancement in tech and, since the Pro3 launch, MP has done nothing to further a standard agent order. So...job security I guess .

Have so many features on my wish list to benefit service providers and they never do anything to help us.

@selder76 I may have misunderstood (really hope I did) but my interpretation is that the $219 package includes EVERYTHING, INCLUDING the 3D tour, which Matterport will then outsource to one of its capture service professionals. They specifically say that the marketing cloud is now a one stop shop.

Quoted from their marketing:

"Digital Pro starting at $219*
Elevate your listings with our all-in-one media package, including high-res photos, a floor plan, a 3D tour, and a social media video."

Hope I have read it wrong. This will leave very little in terms of capture revenue...
