FlexSpace Accounts - revising20705

SpencerLasky private msg quote post Address this user
HI, I wanted to see if I could gain any insights in general. Does anyone have experience using flexspace pricing, and is there an advantage? I understand you get 250 scans versus 200 before additional fees are established. However, you then pay for each additional scan point versus getting additional slots taken on your account overall budget of spaces when you go over 200. I guess if you go over a few scans, then it would potentially be an advantage. I think my client however has the wrong plan for what we do which is retail stores for the arch team, it's very visual, has a lot of cases and displays so shadow to next scan point is the struggle, as well as some other factors having to budget scan points is not in keeping with this requirement.

Secondarly - I"m assuming I can delete scan points in the capture app and reprocess the model once I get them down to 250 (which is not easy) but I like to be sure I can't do it on the served model - which would be non-distructive - just turn off scan points. ? Thank you

Spencer

Yes for sure I do that - and mark it well so I know this scan is "reduced_scans" however I might process it only ot find out it fell apart since it yells at me each time I delete a scan point ! Also I might kill a scan I need by accident since I got from front of house to back of house in a retail store but I need to make two versions - one with only front of house and one with both so I need the stragtgy I developed when shooting to not get messed up - killing 200 scans in a model is a slow moving train! Thanks for the comment though certainly! Spencer
