Realsee Features similar to 3Dvista20654

I was looking thru Facebook and saw a Realsee post on embedding an aerial view. I started to play around with that which it worked similar to Matterport Mattertags. It was a little easier to view and exit after you were in it. I liked this transition better.

But what I found next was some features I had not noticed before, these features allowing you to place a surface on a wall or over a TV or any surface and attach a video or photo. I had not notice this before. But now can edit your own screens in the walk thru. Over lay a burning fire in the fireplace, as long as it is a working fireplace.

Another feature is it has Virtual staging; you can add furniture. The furniture looks ok, I am not sure yet how realistic it looks because I did not publish it yet. But what I did see was a developer's button, which I hope would mean if you have access to realistic 3D models you would be able to upload your own.

These are just a few more feature I found on Realsee that again Matterport do not directly support without addition cost.

Hi @ron0987. Thanks for posting once again as I love the information you share.

Realsee is a pretty powerful system and has many pluses over Matterport, and maybe a few minuses. But very important to be aware of what Realsee is doing.

I only add "my two cents" here as making any comparison between Realsee and 3DVista is misleading. It's comparing apples to oranges. Yes, in this case Realsee can do a couple things that have long been possible in 3DVista, but 3DVista runs circles around both Realsee and Matterport in most ways.

As readers of Dan's site know, we've completed 3DVista projects showcasing sites of up to 200 acres with 3DVista. Couldn't dream of that with either of the others. Yes, if you put handcuffs and a straight-jacket on 3DVista and confine it to one building, there are similarities. But 3DVista essentially has no limits whereas the others do in a huge way.

I'm feeling punchy today so just wanted to clarify the concept of "similar to".
Thanks for sharing once again. I always read what you share.

@Home3D you are totally right, being old and feeble 🤣🤣🤣 sometimes I just saw the tool and had nothing else to compare it to. I will ask Dan to correct the title just to reflect tool.

Since most of my clients are real estate people I have to only consider 3D platforms that show up in the carousel on Zillow. That is the benchmark. Most of those other 3D companies unfortunately do not. Those 3D links are normally buried in the details & If they're available on XYZ real estates website.

Fortunately there is no equity in competition, just like nature. Only the best rise to the top. The push for excellence in this field is what attracts us to it.

Hi all, I agree with @Home3D, as a longtime user of 3DVista placing a video on a wall has been a feature of 3DV for years and that's just scratching the surface. There's nothing which compares to 3DV as it's just up to the creator to tap into the power of this remarkable application. Creators have even created games with the 3DV that why it's the number one go to for professional VT producers.
