Apologies if this is public knowledge, but I can't find the exact answer. I work for a company that uses the Pro3 for insurance documentation. I am looking to use the Pro3 to do some real estate tours on the side and charge for the tours, and floorplans, etc. My question is in regards providing the tour to the agent. Is it best to share the tour with the agent from my plan and housing it until (if) it sells, or do most get the agents to buy their our Matterport plan, and transfer the space to them? I am new to this, so any info would be MUCH appreciated. |

As a tour provider you will likely expected to host the tour in your account ~ Not many agents have their own accounts and those who do are likely shooting their own tours or have someone in-house shooting for them

In order to have a Pro3 tour transferred to their account they would need a new Professional or better plan to host the tour ~ Free, Starter, nor Classic accounts support the Pro3 tours

Is there a good thread to go for pricing for tours, providing floor plans, etc.

@JeremyATGenesis It really varies greatly from Market to Market |

$0.08 a SqFt with at least 6 months of hosting included is more or less a wide benchmark but, like I said this can vary greatly from market to market

@lilnitsch Thanks for the info. I am continuing to dig in on info in my area. It's does not have a lot of options for Matterport professionals, so I want to price accordingly.

@JeremyATGenesis Keep in mind most Real Estate agents will be looking for a "1 stop shop" i.e. photography, aerials, video, Matterport, and possibly Zillow 3D home tours Just Matterport to agents is a hard sell |

@lilnitsch Agreed. I do have my Part 107 commercial license. Is Zillow 3D home tours just the shared model? Are they something separate?

@JeremyATGenesis Zillow 3D home tours are technically a separate item ~ They are easily shot with a Ricoh Theta V, SC2, X or Z1 or with an Insta360 X3, X4, or ONE RS 1-Inch 360 |

I concur with @lilnitsch that many agents really appreciate having a one-stop provider that can handle whatever they need in media. Our toolkit includes: HDR photography Cinematic Video FPV Fly-through drone video Drone photography and video (FAA) CubiCasa tours (floor plan with linked positioned photos) (cool new product) Matterport home tours Matterport home and full property tours, indoors and out 3DVista tours (properties too large for Matterport) HiRes 360° photography via Nodal Ninja Drone 360° panoramic photography Aerial photogrammetric 3D modeling of large properties for 3DVista tours Aerial gaussian splat 3D modeling for 3DVista tours There's that old expression that "to a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail." We have won projects because we weren't trying to make the project fit our tools, we were prepared with the tools needed to best service the client's needs. |

Agree with what's above. For pricing I would Google real estate photography in your area to see what your competitors rates are for a base line and what services they offer. 6 month contract is good for hosting. That's the average lising agents contract with the seller. If you're using a Pro 3 I would be sure to mention it. I use a pro 2, but have a competitor in my market that use a Theta Z1. My client noticed the difference immediately |
