| Spoke to sales rep yesterday afternoon who answered my questions: 1)No trade-in or credit options available. Currently there is a $100 discount on the first 100 units sold and a free battery and beer glass with logo avail until Nov. 13. 2)Yes, still need to set R1 at 90 degrees to scan vertically. 3)Other than I know there is no 3D deliverable, (scanning is still only 2D), the SLAM technology apparently takes advantage of the updated LIDAR system and creates live mapping while you're scanning to improve situational awareness.I'm probably not describing that well but I would assume the SLAM technology improves data for the drafters as well. |
