This video demonstrates a prototype of interactive catalog integrating 3D reality capture technology into digital signage. The process begins with a Gaussian Splatting 3D model, created using a drone and Polycam (http://poly.cam). This model is then imported into the 360° immersive platform SeekBeak (http://seekbeak.com). Finally, using the no-code platform Intuiface (http://intuiface.com), we design a seamless user interface, resulting in a cohesive experience tailored for trade shows, showrooms, and sales presentations. Check it out live: https://web.intuiface.com/splatinteractive Created by Maria Sanchez and Paolo Tosolini 3D model by chLangford Special thanks to Timothy Allan of SeekBeak.com |

@Tosolini Thanks for sharing your mashups with us. Always fun to see what's possible. Gaussian Splatting continues to get buzz. I wonder when it will be practical? Best, Dan |

I think Gaussian Splatting is evolving quickly and there might be other radiance field related techniques in the future that may be more practical. We'll see what kind of announcements will happen at the big computer vision / graphics events. | ||
