Position Summary Seek Now is searching for capable 1099 independent sub-contractors to provide drone services for upcoming telecommunication tower projects. Essential Functions and Duties: -- Ability and willingness to survey large towers and surrounding areas -- Lift, carry, and set up equipment up to 45 pounds -- Travel to perform drone services across the country -- Ability to take assignments on short notice and complete all aspects of job assignments as defined -- Represent our Core Values: Self-Starter, Visionary & Strategic, Lead with Humility -- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills with a focus on professionalism and customer service -- Flexible in job assignment scheduling -- Ability to utilize other equipment as needed including 3D Cameras, Drones, Laptop, and Smartphone Preferred Qualifications -- Mavic 3 Enterprise Drone experience -- Dronelink or other data capture software -- Experience in Telecommunications Tower Capturing projects Minimum Requirements -- Part 107 License -- DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise -- A clean and reliable vehicle, preferably with 4-wheel drive -- An operational laptop and smartphone -- Ability to travel nationwide -- Ability to use a laptop and a smartphone, which includes navigating between applications, entering data, and using Microsoft Office products -- Ability to submit complete, quality reports on time Other Requirements -- Ability to submit complete, quality reports on time -- Professional appearance -- Valid driver |

| @DanSmigrod I understand that it is contract work and that they pay for travel. Do they expect me to be available full time, or are jobs a few times a year, like IFTI. Can I work for them and still be able to serve my local clients. And of course pay is between us, but they can give an idea of expectations. For example, their application asks how many time per year are you willing to stay out of town for 2 to 4 nights at a time. Well, it depends: If the max they are willing to pay is $100/day, never. But if they are willing to pay $3,000 per day, most weeks. It makes me leery when a company is so vague about what they expect. They think we have all the time in the world to fill out applications for a work that only might be a good fit. It's disrespectful, I think. Anyway, if anyone has more insight, I might be willing to spend my energy. |
