Camera does not start scanning when I tell it to. I keep getting unknown error messages. I keep losing connection. You name it, it's going wrong today. Called matterport support. Which was pretty useless. Anybody else having issues scanning? Connectivity to camera?

@pixelray Have you tried: 1. Leaving your camera off for 1 minute before restarting? 2. Leaving your iPad off for 1 minute before restarting? Dan |

@pixelray If you have tried the above without success, please describe the space around you? (I wonder if you move 100 yards away, if you have the same problem.) Dan |

So I actually just changed batteries and I'm having much better luck. I did try all you mentioned. Tried all the normal tricks. But who would have thought a battery change would help alleviate what I'm dealing with? Crazy

Are you in an area with a lot of WiFi networks (I.e. like a condo building)? I had something similar happen during a scan in a WiFi-rich building Keith |

Also, perhaps the battery change allowed all components to lose all residual charge, possibly resetting everything?? Simply turning it off may not quite accomplish that. (Modem restart by unplugging vs. a power button). Possible I don't know what the heck I'm talking about, but that seems like an explanation. KF |

I was in a townhome complex, so not a ton of Wi-Fi interference. Nothing more than normal on a lot of these jobs. This was the first time my Pro 3 had ever acted that way. My Pro two did that all the time.

Well, it is happening again. Twice in a day. Totally different location. Now after a successful scan, the scan button will be grayed out and will not come back to life. Ready to take the next scan. I have had to reboot multiple times again. Maybe my camera is going on the fritz

Well just an update...this issue occurred again this morning. I immediately did the same thing...swap batteries. Boom...worked perfect. I think I have a bad battery in my arsenal. Only thing that makes sense. Maybe it's not giving off the proper power??? Who knows.
