| Hi, Has anyone used the iGuide Planix for as built scanning? How accurate would you say it was? For a 50,000 sqft warehouse, how far apart would you suggest each scan from one another? Any tips for elevation? Thanks! |

| I haven't used it for as built... however I will say it only has horizontal lidar scanning, not vertical... i'm not an expert but I don't know if you can get a really accurate as built with one plane. does that make sense? | @davebny I have used iguide before, my concern would be if the space your preparing for has large open spaces? If the space is all office space I would definitely consider it. But if it’s mostly open space I would probably not use it because of all extra scans needed. If it is all open space you might consider Matterport. If you send me a private message I can give you a 3rd option. The MP Pro 3 if you don’t have one maybe consider renting one, several options on forum to rent one. Hope that helps Ron |

| @davebny Typical iGUIDE measurement uncertainty, in distance measurement on a floor plan, is 0.5% or better and the corresponding uncertainty in square footage is 1% or better. BOMA and Alberta RMS standards stipulate maximum square footage errors of 2% and iGUIDE easily meets these requirements. Distance between scans will vary but 10-15 feet between scans is typical.
