While Preethy says while there is no Matterport tool presently on the Matterport tech roadmap, it is something that the Matterport product team will be "actively looking" at in 2024. A tool for mashing up "connected spaces" would enable multiple Matterporters to simultaneously scan multiple floors to complete a Matterport digital twin in a fraction of existing time when scanning with one Matterporter. Preethy acknowledged that a tool for "connected spaces" is often requested by Matterport customers. My impression is that Matterport offers combining spaces at an extra fee for enterprise clients. Matterport competitors already offer this solution. What are your thoughts? How important would a Matterport tool for connecting related spaces be for you or your clients? Happy holidays, Dan |
