Nathan truly is Cool. His videos are informative, measured, and thoughtful. This one is no exception. Nathan’s work on YouTube is a service to all of us. This recent lawsuit is a tsunami of change coming at us. We just don’t yet know the size or shape of the wave. But as Nathsn points out, the key is to be the very best you can be. It’s tough out there. We’re at the end of the paved road, heading into a uncharted field. But push your game and you’ll do well. |

"Keefe, Bruyette & Woods is predicting more than half of agents -- and as many as 80% -- could lose their jobs or leave the profession amid continued class-action litigation. Additionally, the bank predicts that over time the $100 billion annual commission pool on home sales in the U.S. could be cut by one-third." "'NAR and corporate real-estate companies have had a stranglehold on real-estate commissions for too long," plaintiffs' lawyer Michael Ketchmark said outside the Kansas City, Mo., courtroom." -- The Wall Street Journal (15 November 2023, page A14) Realtors Brace for Change After Court Ruling |

FS Stoppers (16 November 2023) Some Real Estate Photographers Might Be Out of a Job Soon Hi All, Personally, I disagree. The author says fewer buying agents = fewer real estate photography shoots. The listing agent is the buyer of real estate photography: not the buyer real estate agent. Fewer buyer real estate agents likely = MORE real estate photography shoots AND more Add Ons such as: 3D/360 tour; floor plans, drone (and more). Your thoughts? Happy holidays, Dan |
