Matterport Does Not & May Not Support Leica BLK360 2nd Generation Scanner

I received an email from Matterport today (7 November 2023) in response to my question about if/when Matterport will support the Leica BLK360 2nd Generation Scanner:

Saw you had a question regarding support of Leica BLK360 (2nd gen)

We will not be supporting this scanner at this time, and are uncertain as to when we will work to support unfortunately.

I could imagine Matterport wants potential scanner buyers to buy a Matterport Pro3 Camera (instead of the next generation Leica BLK360 scanner).
