I'd like to share our latest R&D prototype that might be of interest to this audience. FlightFusion is a web app designed to enhance the museum journey using emerging technologies. By extending the on-site museum experience, FlightFusion offers visitors the opportunity to engage with immersive features, enabling interaction with digital representations of the exhibits directly on their mobile devices. Key features of FlightFusion include: • Interactive 3D Scenes: Rendered using the Gaussian Splatting method and captured with the Luma AI app. • 3D Models: Created using Lidar or photogrammetry with the Polycam app. • Web Experience: A database-driven interface developed using the Intuiface authoring tool. This web app is a result of a collaboration between Tosolini Productions and The Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA. Scan the QR code to try it out. |

@Tosolini Thank you for sharing. (And for including the QR code to the mobile experience. I always experiencing Tosolini Productions mashups. I particularly liked the AR experience. I could imagine that it is hard work to make it look so easy. Enjoy your weekend, Dan |

Thanks @DanSmigrod. This mashup consists of various techs, glued together by a UI designed in Intuiface. The web app features a database of URLs pointing to Luma AI / Polycam scenes / assets. When it comes to the AR part, I host the 3D model on my Azure cloud account in USDZ format. USDZ is recognized by iOS as a 3D format, and will trigger the AR Quick Look feature on your iPhone without me needing to code anything. This AR demo will not work on Android. Like most of my prototypes, I open source everything in case others want to build upon my R&D. |
