Matterport Stats?19085

Using some samples sites within our portfolio to map potential client interest/engagement so we can see what type of spaces generate the most interest but i am finding the Matterport stats vary wildly from one day to another (one day it says there has been 48 visits within a seven day period and then just hours later it says there are just 8) Is this a known fault or am i just the "lucky" one?

No your not.

For a client with about 60 permanent spaces I have been collecting data for the last three years. Sometimes the number of unique visits outstrips the number of impressions of the landing page by a huge margin (like 10 to 1). It’s pretty random and not such a regular occurrence.

I also notice that the unique visitor to impression ratio is almost always between 65 to 70 percent. This kind of regularity is plain weird.

In short the trends seem to be relevant but the details cannot be relied on.

If I were you I would use Mpembed to insert a Google Analytics tag into your scans. The details are accurate and you will get so much more useful data to work with. MPEmbed now supports GA4.

Hi @Meidensha,
Your tip about using MPEmbed and Google Analytics is a good one.
