Perhaps a third-party Matterport Partner tool can do this?

You must be diligent in orienting your first scan. If you care about the orientation, the camera lens needs to be facing exactly “East” or what will be the right side of your “page.”

Hi @Siviu, @HaranHambright, and Dan,
Great question, great answer.
Back in the days of Google Business View (or whatever it is called this week) virtual tours you needed to shoot the panos facing north.

@Gladsmuir, There is should be a parameter in EXIF called Heading. That actually defines where north is. So if your heading is straight NW actual North will be just 90 degrees CW rotation. Most professional software like Pano2VR pro can help to set a different heading. For that reason I personally do not care to start with any particular orientation.
