I'm looking at a used Pro2 camera that has 9011 sweeps on it. Does anyone have any knowledge on to what the average lifespan of these cameras are?

I emailed their tech support and supplied them with the serial number from the camera. The original person who replied had to escalate it to senior support but got the answer after a quick back and forth.

I'm not sure how many sweepsi I have on mine. It's over five years òld and I've done well over 800 models on it. True only thing I've had to do was replace the batteries

But I currently use a Theta Z1. I'm hoping an upgrade to the Pro2 will save me some scans. I have some that have reached 100, but very few. So, I'm guessing this would equate to around 300 properties if used the same. Probably a couple years old. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger. |

I'm not sure what the average life span is of a Pro2, based on number of sweeps. However at MatterFix we have repaired hundreds of Pro2 cameras and only in a few instances has a camera stopped working due to a worn out part. The majority of the time, cameras have problems because they have been dropped or otherwise mishandled. At MatterFix we're currently selling Certified Pre-Owned Pro2 cameras with free shipping, a hard case and a one year warranty for $800 to $1000. The difference in price is based on cosmetic condition....all have the same warranty. If you're going to buy a used camera, we've done a video to walk you thru what to look for in a camera to be sure it doesn't have any problems...see here: [vimeo]https://https://vimeo.com/731218355[/vimeo] clickable text |

I would highly recommend Mike with Matterfix. I used him to replace my batteries and have never heard any complaints about his service or products.
