3D Virtual Staging in Matterport - what workflow for realistic .glb files?18771

MeshImages private msg quote post Address this user
I´m looking for best practices to create super realistic 3D files, that can be used for 3D Virtual Staging with Matterport SDK solutions like MPEmbed, MPSKin, Captur3D, Treedis etc.. E.g. with FBX export files from Sketchup or from similar 3D software tools.

Is there any tricks that can be applied to make these files look better? E.g. baked lights or other magic workflows?

traditionally it would mean using photogrammetry methods / softwares.

but now there is one that uses AI/Nerfs - Luma.ai havent tried it myself
but looks very powerful
u can try that out on mobile devices

I do not know Sketchfab well but I have never seen anything realistic rendered in it.

May be try Blender 3D for it and if you get subscription to BlenderKit for $10/month or so there is a huge library of assets that can be used for staging. Should be easier to grab what you need and save in the format you want for staging. The only thing extra was I wanted to try some human generator add-on for Blender to see how realistic it's going to be. So I have added that lady in the corner.

I have created it in Blender and have taken all assets from BlenderKit free version. It has taken me one hour with almost no skills in Blender using free Archimesh addon.

Thanks for your answers so far.

But what I am looking for is some workflow tipps and tricks to make my assets look as good in Matterport as these demo assets (chair and mega coffee machine). How can I make these textures (from .FBX) look better in the .GLB?

@meshimages thank you for as usual asking the questions on my mind.

However I think what these 3D models need most is better lighting inside the Matterport space.

Do you know that MPEmbed now gives you some tools to change the colour of the lighting on your 3D models matching that of the space you put them in? This would be particularly useful in your space as it is only one room.

Please contact me directly if you want more detail.

And thank you for following my company Facebook page! Danke schoen!
