Matterport content ownership question18738

A fun question.

You do a tour for a client. Later they tell you they want you to transfer the tour you did to a new Matterport account they just created.

Is it your content and you are giving it away? Is it theirs? Can you say ...no, I respectfully decline? Or sure for a certain price? What's your take?

Everything new in the PSA (Platform Subscription Agreement) from May 2023. Read Number 9.

I read it. Doesn’t mean I get it though. There’s the Matterport customer (us), and the Matterport customer (our client). Both pay to use the service. And there’s the term “authorized reseller”. So what applies to each? What are the ownership rights and limitations of each? Any attorneys want to weigh in? Or is it really obvious and I’m just having a “slow to process moment”?

Customer is the one who pays the bills. And the one who pays the bills has the hosting contract with Matterport. It´s one legal entity, one person or company.
