| Anyone find anything strange and different here? Only thing I see worth mentioning right off is that if you expire you can not download your data. That was probably there before but still a reminder to make sure you've downloaded everything you need as expirations come around be that monthly or annually. | ||

| Review this: ============================================================ 9.1. General Ownership. As between Customer and Matterport, (a) Matterport owns all right, title, and interest, including all Intellectual Property Rights, in and to the Matterport Technology; and (b) Customer owns all right, title, and interest, including all Intellectual Property Rights, in and to the Customer Data. 9.2. Ownership of Matterport Spaces. Without prejudice to Paragraph 9.1, but subject to Paragraphs 4.3 and 9.3 of this PSA, Customer shall own all rights (including Intellectual Property Rights) in and to each Matterport Space and Matterport hereby assigns to Customer, by way of a present assignment of a future right, all its right, title, and interest in and to each Matterport Space. 9.3. Right to Use Matterport Spaces. Matterport shall, both during the term of this PSA and thereafter, have the right to otherwise use each Matterport Space for such purposes and in such ways as Matterport may require in connection with the operation of its business (the “Purpose”) and Customer hereby grants to Matterport a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to otherwise use each Matterport Space for the Purpose. ============================================================ Especially for the 9.3, there is no word talk about "private showcases". So private showcases do not exist anymore? How about those old private showcases before this new terms? According to 9.3 Matterport could use them for other business purpose(eg. selling them to others to make revenue), is it right? This will make the Matterport technology be banned in most IP related projects. As a photographer or capture technician we do not have any right to grant anything to Matterport that related to the showings in the showcase. |
