 We did a comparison of several Matterport-compatible scanning devices for you!!! Try these 6 scans of the same place to compare the differences between scanning devices. Are you still wondering which camera to buy? Try our test first. We used the same facility, same lighting conditions, and same scanning spots to compare those 6 Matterprot compatible scanning devices: - iPhone Xs Max - iPhone Xs Max + Matterport Axis - Ricoh Theta SC2 - Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon BLK360 G1 - Matterport Pro2 - Matterport Pro3 We analyzed the camera quality using STAGES split-screen function, which allows simultaneous navigation in Matterport space. Our observations are: iPhone 2 - Blurred image in the upper area / Shifted image / Dimmed image Axis 2 - Blurred image in the upper area / Dimmed image Ricoh - Faded colors / Dimmed image / Grainy image Leica 2 - Brightened image / Faded colors / Blurred outlines Pro3 - Better resolution than Pro2 As expected, the Pro2 and Pro3 give the best image quality in the Matterport web environment with a small difference in sharpness in favor of the Pro3, but overall the quality is comparable.
