#3DVista has just released the 1st person 3D mode (coming to the beta version in the next days), which enables 3D virtual tours similar to Matterport and Krpano. This is the link to the demo tour They have implemented 3 ways to move around the model in "First Person" mode: 1 | Keys: AWSD and cursor keys. Bar space clicks on Hotspots. 2 | Joystick: Click the mouse button and hold to get the joystick. Then just move forward, backwards, left or right. 3 | Double click anywhere on the floor or walls to move there. |

@MeshImages Interesting. Could this be used like Matterport by using .obj polygon based data and 360 photographs? |

@Meidansha I think it works with .glb files. Like Virtual Staging in Matterport - but I can find out later - Iām scanning at the moment

I have 300mps internet but the intro was VERY jerky. Once into the tour, it worked well. So if you wanted to base it on a real gallery, could you use the capture from a Matterport camera? Or what are the alternatives? |

Intrigued by an alternative but this seems rather half baked at this point (not fluid, jerks to you to focal points at each scan point, etc...). Praying daily someone gets it together and truly competes. At this stage, not yet.

More informations and two more 3D tour examples can be found here And here is a blog post which highlights the technical details. @Meidansha You can use .glb and .gltf 3D files. |
