If I download all the Matterport 360s, can the client re-build the tour?18327

I have a retail client (with multiple sites) that questioned the ownership of files. There question was based on if my company dissolved, would they still have access to the virtual tour - assuming they may want extended access to the tour.

I downloaded the model and provided them with a zipped copy of everything. Can someone confirm that would work…meaning they could technically upload themselves and/or host by other means now that they have the downloaded model files.

You can easily transfer the scan to anyone with an email address.

I don’t want to transfer files at the moment. I’m handling their account. But what I’m hearing is that there is no need to provide a downloaded copy.

I’m not sure it’s reassurance for the client…but I guess the reassurance is that if I go out of business…before I close my doors, I’ll send a link to transfer everything to them?

Yes, they could set up a Matterport account and then you can push it to them.
