Selfhost virtual tours software: your experience with these?18315

I've found these solutions to self hosting virtual tours:

One semifree and well developed for Wordpress as plugin:

(I've not tested it yet)

And another 100% free and open source, but less developed (e.g. it doesnt support VR glasses):

I've tested it and works well, very fast. Options like VR can be added: https://github.com/hhkaos/pannellum-vr

Another free tool is Marzipano. But I’m not sure about privacy with this web-based tool.

It you want full control go for paid tools like 3DVista or Krpano.

I found this too https://wordpress.org/plugins/ipanorama-360-virtual-tour-builder-lite/ (another plugin for wordpress). Free and paid versions. But I didnt test it yet.

I keep doing tests with Pannellum.

Here in Spain we have a cheap clone of Matterport (literally cheap, very affordable for all real states, but a little expensive if you want to host so many virtual tours). It's called Floorfy https://floorfy.com/

I was looking the code, and the floorfy viewer seems to be based in Pannellum code (same json vars names and structure). So it's very easy to implement a selfhost of a floorfy virtual tour. I made a script to that task and I published in my github profile.

The good about Pannellum: It's not needed special things in the web hosting, even it doesnt use php, neither mysql, just basic static html hosting, it's free and open source.
The bad: no vr glass support, no direct scene selection, and so on, just 360 photos virtual tour through hotspots in the panos.
