I scanned a cabana home yesterday with good results "except" I find that I can walk-IN through the door (see image) but cannot walk-OUT the same way. I've not encountered this before and was hoping someone could offer a solution, as their are no marked features in this area

SCAN LINK

Thank you!

Could it be because of the door being closed in the scan that is just below and to the right in the floorplan view you provided? Only times I've had this issue its been because the door was closed in close scans or there was a window marked in the same location on a different floor.

Might want to try deleting the scan that has the door closed and then reuploading.

@mefedarau
You have scanned from one position with the door shut, that will prevent the walk thru. If you have access to the house you can go back and just rescan the one with the door shut and reprocess.

Thanks Ron, I usually do close exterior doors after I'm a scan or two away (easier on glass doors), then as you approach the door it opens and that has always worked well for me. It could be here that I wasn't far enough away before making my move, but it'll be the first issue related to this practice. I'll see what happens once my updated scan set comes back, as I deleted that nearby closed door scan.

@mefederau, I have noticed a few models lately with the doors closed and visible at one point and still allowing you to maneuver thru the model but nothing consistent to set a rule by. Please post with new model, see if that corrects the issue, good luck.

I've found the the distance needed to be away from a closed door that you want to open and walk through is 15-16'. Inside that risks not being able to walk through, even though there are times when being closer works.

Problem resolved! I deleted the "problem scan" and the opening and closing door passage now works like a charm. The needed distance away from a SOLD door is greater than that of a glass (sliding) door and I now better understand that difference; solid doors are much more finicky.

Thanks all :-)

I have a similar issue now. How did you decide which scan was the offending one?
