Matterport Scan Points Shifting (on Backup Matterport Pro2 Camera)?17785

BenAdgie private msg quote post Address this user
I am shooting a retail store that has multiple aisles and the scan points are shifting.

This is my 40th store of this style and I only started having issues when I switched to my backup Pro2. The other camera did not shift the scan points.

Has anyone else experienced shifts and misalignments that only happen with one camera.

Any advice on how to fix this issue?

Thinking of deleting the current firmware and reinstalling but that seems like a drastic step.

Let me know if anyone has had this same issue.

Thanks!

@BenAdgie

Perhaps @MatterFix can weigh-in!

Mike @MatterFix

Because @BenAdgie only experiences this problem when switching to his backup Matterport Pro2 Camera from his primary Matterport Pro2 Camera, does this sound like his Matterport Pro2 Camera (back-up unit) needs to re-calibrated (by you or Matterport?)

Best,

Dan

@BenAdgie

If by shift you mean numbering changes (and repeated numbers) there should be no problem when you process it. It has happened to me in scans with more than 1000 points (with the pro2).

But if it's misalignment, don't continue and waste time and work.

As Dan say, then "Better call Mike"

Our experience with him has been very good.

Luck.
