| Hello community, and today's question is what does the perfect real estate photo image look like? Inside preferably. Should it be bright with blown out windows or should it have contrast and window pulls, or something in between. Please post a common shot not your diamond best, And if you outsource for editing, please notate that. |

| Using multiple exposures both inside and outside need perfect exposure. Through the windows must be perfect. Inside no burnt out highlights and no black shadow areas. No flaring from lighting. My architect friend’s site has some stunning photography. clickable text |

| 1- We offer ION fotos thru our spin-off company. The name came from the endless calls from Realtors saying I Only Need (fill in the blank). We deliver 25-35 interior/exterior images. Cost is $100. ION foto  We process these "in-house", average editing cost for the interiors is about $12. |

| @Expertise I find as a "one man band" that outsourcing editing frees up time for either more shoots, invoicing, and/or a little downtime. There are some really good editors for about $1 a photo my current editor is a little more expensive than some of the others out there but, have been consistent and offer monthly invoicing which is nice. |

| Exactly. Our "in-house" folks are in Poland, Ukraine and Philippines. They have all been with us for at least 4 years. We pay hourly and try hard to keep them busy. They are very skilled and work fast, so cost/image is manageable. FWIW- I recommend that new photographer/business owners learn editing first, to keep your margins up. Then when you get busier you can outsource. Knowing how to edit quickly and skillfully is critical. Look at our ION fotos. We shoot these interiors in 20 minutes typically and edit in less than 30 too. We can do this because we know some unusual editing tricks that I discovered after processing like 1000 shoots a year for 5 years. |

| Thanks so far! So I'm thinking about three levels of editing prices as many of you have suggested, I've been shooting 5 to 7 brackets for everything but I think I can get away with three for a lower price package, while still producing images that are better than the best agent taken photos. |

| Shoot 7, costs you nothing additional. If you shoot 3 you won't have enough dynamic range sometimes. | ||
