Here’s a couple of videos that might help you out. Message me if you have more questions. I would verify that the charger is actually supplying power first, even though the blue light is on. |

Thanks Mike, The charger is fine, when I plug into the camera no lights come on, my batteries are fine, still gives me over 9 Hours for each full charge. At the moment I still have 2 hours of battery, but when I plug the charger no charging lights come on, but if I press the button, it shows me 02 Hours. I think the problem might be the charger port in the camera, with a bad connection, but not sure. I have a job in 2 days, and not really sure what to do, so all the help is wellcome, thank you. |

Do you have a multimeter? You can measure what voltage if any is coming from a charger plug. It can be a fault inside it.

Hi Wingman, I have done that and I am getting 15.26 so it is working. I suspect it is a problem with the connection to the camera. |

I would watch both videos Mike is offering. If you cannot open the camera to troubleshoot further at least inspect a female port for charging on the camera. It can be damaged or it can have some dirt there that does not allow a good contact between the port and the plug.

Hi all, A special thank you to Mike and Wingman. As my camera was out of warranty, and I needed it for a job tomorrow, I decided to open the camera. It was a very easy fix, I carefully removed the 6 screws from the back cover, after adding removed the rubber covers from them (they pop up easily with a screwdriver)I lifted the back cover carefully, as this as the power cables and display cables attached to the front cover, but you get enough maneuver space to disconnect them. So after disconnecting the power cable and connecting it again I tried to charge it still with the cover open, and it did, so I think it is just a bad connection on the socket or the cables. I will carry the screwdriver with me in case I have the same problem, but for the time being it looks like it is sorted. I would like to thank the forum and Dan, and I hope this information might help someone else with a similar problem. All the best, |
