Hello again, I have a client who has several locations around the US. Some of these locations require me to take a flight, rent a car, drive to the location and stay in a hotel. Let's take NYC for example. How would you charge a client for this? Is it a matter of reimbursement for everything plus say a 25% mark up or would you charge a flat fee? Curious to know if anyone has done any projects out of State and how they charged their clients for travel. Thanks. Lee |

I have done a lot of jobs out of my area. I don’t try to travel to them unless there’s an ulterior motive like skiing in Colorado for a couple of Denver jobs. I hire local photographers to do the work and specify my requirements with them. It’s a lot more cost-effective. | ||
