This new MP mash-up explores the world of virtual staging using AI, in particular the DALL-E 2 system. Starting from a snapshot of a room in construction, I described to DALL-E in simple words how I wanted to see the space furnished.
While AI is no substitute to professional virtual staging, it's an interesting view of what is coming in the future.
As of today (20-July-2022), DALL-E is in public beta. Get on the waiting list and have some fun.

Thanks for sharing.

Will the AI ever be “good enough” to remove clutter and/or virtually stage?

@dansmigrod AI doesn't seem to be good enough yet for virtual staging. Maybe what is needed is training a model on well crafted staging, with stylish furniture correctly positioned in the room. Who knows when will that happen? I bet Ikea and a few others are already working on it.

An intermediate step could be something like Apple RoomPlan, with the ability to remove furniture and present the room empty. Then the AI fills it in with its smarts.

I wonder if the AI would be accurate enough to make the IKEA virtual furniture fall apart after a week
