During the editing process today I noticed that the “edit “ button was not working constantly. At first I thought it might be a connection issue. But then after restarting and logging out and back in again, no improvement. Quickly checked the Facebook groups to find that I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. Tried to start a support ticket from their site and nothing. Any help / suggestions are greatly appreciated. Cheers Phil |

It is true, but you must refresh with F5 and it works.

Refresh the webpage - that worked for me. I use Chrome browser, which I suspect plays a role. Keith |

On the Mac side of things I have had issues with the Edit button not working at in Safari, Chrome seems to work though sometimes a re-boot is needed. My new Mac Studio arrives tomorrow and we'll see if going from the M1 Mini w/16GB of ram to the M1 Ultra with 64GB of ram makes any difference

@PWIMAGING close all browsers then open fresh one and hit F5. Next shut off computer and restart

The Edit button has worked intermittently the last couple of days. In Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Including AFTER logging out and in, rebooting, and holding my breath. Ok, maybe not the last one. Yes, it is very frustrating.

Press F5 while holding Ctrl pressed. It is a page reload but with bypassing your local browser cache and loading the whole page content including all scripts from Matterport servers again. Matterport actually has some errors with calling their scripts from another domain and that's probably why pressing Edit does not work most of the time. |

I encountered this if I opened the space and then pressed edit. I think it has always worked if I just refreshed page so space had arrow still, then pressed edit. I have never had to reboot or exit account. Mac Safari. |

Quote:Originally Posted by CharlesHH Rebooting will only work if you have set your browser to clear cache on closing the browser. And even in this case you do not need to reboot your PC, just close the browser and start it again. Logging out.. there is no point in it at all. It works because you leave the page with the Edit button and open it again when you're logged in. The same result can be achieved with just a page reload which apart from F5(Ctrl+F5) or clicking reload button can be done by clicking back in your browser history and return to the page again. |

Transferring data now curious to see if more Ram helps or not (never hurts) |

So, after logging into Matterport this morning Workshop Editing seems to be working with Safari on the new Mac Studio

Between this issue and the recent "trim marking lag" issue, I feel like every time I open the Capture App I'm stepping off a curb waiting to get hit by a bus. Cheers all - Keith |

@Chemistrydoc One of the last capture updates resolved the "Trim Lag" |

Yes, my point being, that before the previous update, there was no trim lag. Then, update - trim lag. Pedestrian meet unseen bus. KF |

@Chemistrydoc Matterport is pretty fragmented in their leadership teams and since they currently do not have any of the advisory boards running like they once had in the past. It seems like these issues fall on deaf ears as they get lost as they often do not get to the proper team(s) for a resolution |
