Anyone Noticing Increased Matterport Pixelation?17045

An ongoing client pointed this out to me this morning, saying that their 3D walk-through appears very pixelated when loading and transitioning from one pano-scene to another. I looked at some other models and noticed the same thing; in fact, the larger the space, the longer the pixelation. I know Matterport uses CDN for optimal internet delivery of their data and to minimize bandwidth issues. I also know that browsers commonly use lazy-loading to render prioritized images quicker. However, I'm wondering if I'm just seeing it more now after it was brought to my attention, or is there something that either MP, browsers, or ISPs have changed or having problems with. Any similar wonderings? |

Same problem here. Last time I was facing similar problems, Matterport launched new (fast) transitions shortly after. |

This is a global issue with pretty much most models I've ever created, and I think transitioning away from the walkthrough and going with the slideshow will do just fine. Nobody's going to know what they're missing.

Yes, I have notice that too when viewing my recent tours and looking at other provider tours. I checked my older tours and it is doing the same thing.

@meshimages , I noticed this too a year ago and it did improve. Perhaps Matterport’s AWS is approaching its limit and they have to subscribe for more space?

I also noticed this and was thinking wow these old pro 1 tours look crap and I need to speak to the client and get them re-captured. Probably should anyway.
