Hello Dear amazing community, I have done this scan for a decoration showroom, using insta 360 one X2, However, I have had problems with scanning part and when I got back to points, they became misaligned, and the stairs has problems also. At the end, I am trying to redo the scanning from the beginning, I would appreciate any comments or critics to help with my project. Please suggest me your tips to fix the issues mentioned above |

Overshooting for a clean model is always a good idea however, hiding scan positions that are nearly in the same position will make for a more professional tor and cleaner navigation. Holes in the floor mesh on the second floor is one of the reasons I personally do not use 360 cameras for my paid tours. Pancaking & and model twisting can also be an issue with the supported 360 tours |

@nvarkawan Great job! I agree with @lilnitsch about over scanning is good (but hide scans that are not needed for the walk through experience). In the screen grab above (shame on Matterport for the advertisement at the top of the scan), seems like the 360 View has the return to the showroom icon in the wrong place: 180-degrees in the wrong place. I walked around a lot, but did not see the problem that you describe. Can you do a screen grab that would show where to find the "bad" spot? Congrats again and thanks for sharing! Best, Dan |
