| Video: How I Switched From Matterport to iGuide Virtual Tours | Video courtesy of Shooting Real Estate YouTube Channel | 23 April 2022 From Shooting Real Estate YouTube Channel: I started with Matterport virtual tours in 2014 and was amazed by the technology back then. The biggest expense was buying the camera. It was a small monthly fee to host the models and I was making money with these tours. Now years later, the monthly costs escalated from $60US/month to over $300/month and up! I am a Canadian so this was costing me more than what I was bringing in for the tours. Matterport changed dramatically in their costs and also their direction toward supporting cheaper cameras and the iPhone turned me off to the company. Time to say goodbye to Matterport. But its more than just selling a camera, you still have the monthly costs for all the models I am hosting on their platform. I am trapped in their subscription...or am I?
