| As you probably know, Captur3d has recently introduced a new animation feature. Seeing flying sharks and running robots within a living room is very impressive and fun at the same time, but how can you use the animation feature in a way that is useful for the customers and helps them visualize the function of a space? After brainstorming a few ideas, my team and I developed this animated desk that doubles as a bed and the swimming goldfish in the bowl on top of it. In this case, the animation of the transforming furniture helps to understand the double function of the room and the way it can be furnished. It becomes a subtle message that tells the viewer that this den can be used both as an office and as a guest room. You can see the "furniture in action" and the rest of the virtual staging here Another example is the use of the animated desk/bed to show how to furnish an incredibly tiny studio in Seattle (Matterport tour courtesy of Jonathan Klein at PropTech Consulting). Animations can be a powerful descriptive tool for those spaces that have either a unique or a complicated layout.
