Stitching Two Matterports together16425

ryanmiller38 private msg quote post Address this user
Hello,

I recently completed a Matterport scan of a house with a separate cottage. I tried to walk the scans out to it, but the sun wouldn't follow with it. I ended up doing a separate scan of the cottage and now I'm interested how I'd combine the two together!

Place a Mattertag next to door going to cottage saying Visit Cottage and below that in description write Click here and paste a link to the cottage. Reverse from cottage to house.

With MPembed you can do it better with visual of both in a menu at top left. More complicated

Matterport Tour within a Tour courtesy of We Get Around Network

@ryanmiller38

Welcome to the WGAN Forum.

I would suggest two ways:

1. In this Matterport tour (above), we embedded a Matterport tour within a Matterport tour. (Walk to the exterior deck and looks towards the barn converted into an apartment.

2. Deep Links (see video below)

From the Matterport YouTube Channel:

This is the first of several clips in which Amir takes a deep dive into the customization tools in Workshop. Workshop, also known as Showcase Edit, is what’s used to customize your processed model. You can do things like adding information in the form of Labels and Mattertags, add a Guided Tour, set the Start Location for your visitors, and much more. This clip focuses on the first two tools in the tool panel - the Start Location and 3D Scans. You’ll also find a Pro Tip on how to get a deep link to specific locations and view points in your model.

Skip to:
Start Location: 03:42
Deep Link: 05:16
3D Scans: 06:45

Source: Matterport YouTube Channel

Essentially, you are locating deep links - a place within each Matterport tour - to fly-directly into that spot within the tour.

All WGAN Forum discussions tagged: Deep Links

Are the above two examples helpful?

Best,

And this inspires two additional options:

1. CAPTUR3D – Matterport player enables more than one tour to be displayed

2. Show & Tour – Matterport player enables more than one tour to be displayed

Josh @sherpa_media

Can you post Show & Tour examples that display two or more Matterport tours within one Show & Tour player?

Thanks,

Dan

Hey @ryanmiller38 and WGAN crew! Please find an example to a multi-tour integration using CAPTUR3D. You can access multiple tours via the Navigation Menu on the left-side menu:

If you haven't signed up to CAPTUR3D yet, you receive $90 worth of free credits (enough for multiple Matterport tour integrations, Floor + Site Plan and Photo Retouching orders) using this special WGAN sign up link: clickable text
