| Hello, Our first post. We are a start up in NJ looking to enter the 3d scanning space and are leaning toward Matterport to build our model around. It appears that there was an interview on this site 2 years ago with the CEO of Matterport talking about a new Pro3 camera. Has there been any news since then about the release of a new Pro series of camera? I could not get any info from their website and we don't want to invest in the Pro2 camera if the Pro3 is set for release. Does anyone have any information on the Matterport Pro3 camera release date or other specs?? Thanks! 5 Star Scans... |

| Dan, Thanks for the quick reply. I guess we will purchase the Pro2 and begin operations and wait with the best of the rest to see what comes out. You would think a company with such size, resources and penetration in this market would have a department to handle these roll outs...GoPro does. |

| @5StarScans the Pro2 3D camera is like starting out with a Porsche 911, compared to the Leica blk360 which is more like a Bugatti Veyron. They're both in great classes. | ||

| @DanSmigrod Hi, I spoke with an employee high up in Matterport middle of last year and he confirmed the Pro 3 was ready, but Matterport is keeping it off the market to first sell their Pro2 stock. Very reliable source, their UK sales also confirmed that to me. | ||
