Sim-on - Matterport IoT solution16057

There is a lot going on in the Matterport ecosystem.

Sim-on from Poland is starting a public alpha version of their IoT solution for Matterport.

The IoT solution starts with 3 applications/scenarios.

1) Control of smart devices
2) Asset documentation
3) Calendar of events

I have just signed up to give it a spin. Now I need to find a smart device to test it. I actually don't know, if I have one.

They have also released 3 demo spaces. But you need to go to their website to open them and test them.

These guys are probably so smart, that they are using smart links, that can only be opened from their website. Or does this first link open for you? I cannot open it from here Demo 1 - office (if anyone knows, how to code this link-security-feature, I would be happy if you could share)

Demo 1 - office

Demo 2 - Airbnb

Demo 3 - family home

Really cool! Glad to see more applications coming out for MP. However, unless we're able to see changes to devices in real-time, I'm not sure I see a need for controlling devices via a 3D tour. I control my devices by voice-command, app, or my mobile notifications bar, which is instant and can provide visual status indicators. The extra steps of opening an MP model of a space taken a year ago doesn't seem to make this task easier or more informative. But maybe I'm missing the what the central advantage is here.

@MeshImages I will still try to investigate more but i need to know if you reached that level in search through their website. Is their solution able to simulate the functions of the smart devices installed a the house? If so, this can open a very good business channel with the Smart Home Systems manufacturers.
