Internet of Things, and we basically help World-class organizations with a day-to-day in operations for their assets and long-term vision. [00:00:13] John Gould: - Our goal and focus is really shifting towards preventing the consequence of asset failures, developing digitalization, transformation for an organization, and how to shift from those legacy practices to those digital tools. [00:00:25] John Connell: - One of the primary reasons why we chose Matterport, we also have our own IoT platform. We looked at integrating our IoT platform into Matterport as well. [00:00:36] John Gould: - Allowing organizations to have real-time access to information and technicians access to information right on mobile devices, and leveraging solutions like Matterport for that visualization component. Really our focal point is, what is the technology that best aligns with their needs. Modeling, viewing capabilities to tagging and tying those back to those assets. It's proving to be an effective use of that digital twin, that 3D visualization. Allowing the partnership to come together the way it has, we're able to scale quickly. [00:01:05] John Connell: - That's very common in our industry that you want to have safety procedures in place to secure equipment. We could use Matterport to demonstrate where those assets are and then link that information and maximum and also show route and the video of that. Using some of the capture measurements of Matterport to go in and measure a space, if I'm going to go into that space, how wide is it? How high is it? What kind of ladder do I need to get up a level to maintain an asset? |
